Frequently asked questions

What does liposomal mean?

A liposomal supplement wraps a nutrient inside microscopic spheres made of phospholipids, the same type of fat that forms cell membranes, to protect it during digestion and help absorption. Read the full guide.

Are liposomal supplements better than regular ones?

For some nutrients, especially glutathione and high-dose vitamin C, small studies show better absorption. For many others the evidence is limited, and regular forms cost far less. See the comparison.

Are liposomal supplements legal in Canada?

Yes, when they are licensed by Health Canada as natural health products. Look for an eight-digit NPN on the label.
